What’s in the Giant’s Larder?

We are preparing some props in preparation for a foyer display at Camberely Theatre in the summer to promote their forthcoming pantomime production of Jack and the Beanstalk for which they are hiring our Jack set 3 and various other props and gags including Balor the giant.

The pieces were certainly showing their age, so we have set them on wheels, re-coated them in Jesmonite and re-painted them entirely. The difference is marvellous. They have really been brought back to life again. Check out the freshly painted and new stack of groceries compared to the original battered version.

Updated and refreshed larder contents!
The battered old version
Giant's grocery stack. Prop for Jack and the Beanstalk.
This prop stands just under 6′ tall and 4′ across. It looks amazing now it is repainted.
There was a lot of damage to the old version from years of stage hands shifting it around so adding castors will really help to preserve the newly painted version.
