During these unprecedented weeks of frightening news, emotional and financial hardship in which the country pulls together in it’s battle against the Covid-19 virus, we count our blessings that DSH is a small, family run business and as such we are able to continue manufacturing scenery and taking orders for pantomime set hire. Our workshop is based at our home and our workforce comprises family members, meaning social distancing is not an issue. All we need is a commission and the supplies to be able to fulfil it!! So we call all theatres and production companies to look at your stocks of house masking flats, braces etc and let us know if you would like to take advantage of this dark period to restock and/or refurbish. We would be happy to give you a quotation.
We are optimistic that social restrictions will be lifted by the time we get to the pantomime season and are taking orders for pantomime scenery hire as normal. Still available for the 2020 season are Cinderella set 1, Dick Whittington, Robin Hood, Peter Pan and a Jack and the Beanstalk.
In the meantime, we are ever mindful that this is a very precarious time for all theatres and their staff and all freelance workers in the industry. We send you all our best wishes and fervently hope that you all make through this terrible ordeal unscathed, fit and well.
